Frequently asked questions

Which is the best Camino de Santiago?
There's no single best one for everyone. The Camino Francés is the most complete and popular; the Portuguese, comfortable and with good weather; the Primitivo, the most demanding; the English, the shortest. It depends on your time, fitness and what you're looking for.
Which is the easiest Camino?
The Camino Inglés (from Ferrol) is short and manageable; the Central Portuguese is comfortable and flat. The last 100 km of any route are also within reach for a first time.
Which is the most beautiful Camino?
It's very personal: the Primitivo and the Camino del Norte stand out for their mountain and coastal scenery; the Francés, for its historical richness; the Portuguese Coastal, for the sea. They all lead to Santiago.
