About
I walked the Camino and came back changed. You set out for one reason and arrive in Santiago with another; along the way you drop something you didn’t need and pick up something you were missing. Santiago Plan grew out of that experience: it’s the guide I wish I’d had to plan it calmly, without getting lost across a thousand websites.
This is not one more site generated without ever setting foot on the Camino. I’ve walked its stages, slept in its hostels, sweated on the Meseta and shivered in the mountains, and felt how it changes you inside. I combine that experience with reliable sources (Camino associations, the Pilgrim’s Office, official Xacobeo data) and real data (elevation calculated stage by stage, hostels from OpenStreetMap) so the information is both lived and verified. Nothing made up, nothing copied.
This is a personal project, tied to no institution. Some accommodation and experience links are affiliate links: if you book through them, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, which lets me keep the site free and free of intrusive ads. I always tell you. I never sell hostels: I give you the direct phone number.
Choose your route, split the stages at your own pace and save the plan to your account so it's always at hand.
