The Camino de Levante links Valencia with Zamora, where it joins the Vía de la Plata and the Sanabrés. Documented as far back as the 16th century (pilgrims arriving through the port of Valencia), it was rediscovered and waymarked from 1991 onwards.
It crosses La Mancha, Ávila and Zamora in almost total solitude, over mostly flat terrain but with few services. For those seeking a long, silent challenge.
Who it's for
For the long-distance pilgrim who seeks solitude.
